Proofreading Activity

I have been learning to proofread my work. Proofreading is important because because when you are doing a test you need to proofread, If you do not you might fail. I found this tricky because I was not reading it properly. My next step is to re read the sentence so it makes sense. 

Telling Time in Digital and Analonge

WALT understand 24 hour time and write the time in numbers (digital) and words. I found this tricky because I got confused with the 24 hour time.

My next step is to keep learning my 24 hour times.

Maori Guardian Art

We read a  myth about how the Maori believe the world begin it was called in the beginning. We learnt about some of the Maori Guardian. I chose to draw Tawhrimatea.

I wrote some adjectives to describe Tawhrimatea.  I found this tricky because I could not draw it.

My Persuasive Speech

Point of View - Stuart Little

In chapter ten, Snowbell meets with the Angora cat in the neighborhood. Snowbell attempts to explain to the Angora how he lives with a mouse and a bird.  Snowbell and the Angora differ in their views of how a cat should live with a mouse and a bird. In the space below, list all the details that support Snowbell’s point of view for not eating Stuart and Margalo and the Angora point of view for why he should eat Stuart.

My Reflection

I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose.In this activity I had to think about two characters point of view to help me understand the story more. I found this interesting because some of the characters were really rude. Something I found tricky was finding the Evidence from the text because there was lots of writing. My next step is to find more information
