Gertie-Locks and the 3 bears

We were doing free writing. I deiced to do a fractured fairy tale. I did one about Goldie-locks and the 3 bears.I enjoyed this task because I planed this because.I think I described this very well.

Swimming!!!!!!!!

In this picture we were learning how to swim in ruff water,

I found this easy because it was not that hard.

The tricky part was to keep our head up.

My next step is to swim faster.

Learning To Recognise Decimal Fractions

In this task I learnt to recognize fractions. I found this easy because we learnt this with miss D'souza. I found this a bit tricky at first because they were all mixed up. My next step is to use bigger numbers like hundredths and thousandths.

WALT Create a narrative based on a video.
I kept my the same a changed a bit. I found this task easy because we had the video to help us. My next step is to use more time connectives instead of then all the time. 

FlipGrid

In this task we had to post a flip-grid on how August affects Via's life, the we had to think what if I had a brother like Auggie. I loved this task.
I enjoyed this task  because I love listening to Auggie, Via, mom, and dad in Wonder.
My next step is to give more specific detail.

Wonder Visualisation

WALT visualise a character by using the descriptive language to create a picture.

In this task I had to listen carefully to the description of August by his sister , Via and then draw him like he is described in the book. I think I did pretty good because I listened to the describer. I found this fun because it was testing my listening skills. My next step is to listen more carefully.

Character Description

We are learning to describe a character deeply.
We worked in groups. I was with GIOVANNI and SARA. At first we did not understand how to describe by showing then we got an idea and wrote it again. The thing we did not understand was that we had to make so deep that the knew who it was just by our words. My next step is to understand the work properly.

Geometry Transformations

1.We are learning to enlarge and reduce two-dimensional shapes by a given scale factor.
I found this easy because we were given an example.

2. We are learning to find all the lines of a reflection symmetry in a given shape.
I found this easy because I have done this before.

Speech

    This is my speech. I found this tricky to write because it had to be over 2 minutes long.
I liked writing this because it was lots of fun. Next time i am going to try make my speech longer

Tesslation

In this task we had to accurately create a tessellation using  different shapes. I decided to make a pattern using __The  Sqaure__ shape. I found making a tessellation with one shape really easy because it is a simple shape I found making a tessellation with 3 shapes challenging because some shape are not that good.My next step is to try 3 shapes
Next time I would go with 2 shapes.

 Reflection:

We have been learning to use dialogue to make inferences about characters in our story (Feather First). I found this activity tricky because we had to get the answers from the book by only looking at the quotes to find out the character's characteristics and habitat. The parts I found easy were the characteristics of some well known birds because I could connect it to my prior knowledge.
My next step is to use my prior knowledge to make connections with the information I already know.

I found this activity tricky because I did not know what patterns to do.
